Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2 (Preschool Years)
An Interdisciplinary Approach through Inquiry and Exploration
Our Symphonic Learning™ approach for Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2 children is rooted in our children’s interests and questions, encompassing the principles of Project-Based Learning and Phenomenon-Based Learning, where learning is driven by meaningful problems, themes, or real-world events that spark wonder and sustained inquiry.
Teachers co-construct these investigations with children – designing learning experiences that evolve through observation, dialogue, research, facilitation, and documentation.
This fosters a deep understanding of the world around them, nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and bilingual language development within a harmonious and holistic learning environment.
Our Early Years Programmes
Nursery 2
4 years old
Children begin to take on more complex thinking and collaborative roles as they investigate real-world themes through inquiry-based learning. Through our bilingual drama pedagogy, storytelling, and purposeful play, they build confidence in communication, empathy, and creative problem-solving.
Kindergarten 1
5 years old
We support children in developing greater independence and ownership of their learning. Through project- and phenomenon-based inquiries, children collaborate to explore meaningful ideas, plan investigations, and express their understanding through multiple forms. Bilingual learning through our drama pedagogy will enrich their expression, empathy, and engagement.
Kindergarten 2
6 years old
Our bilingual programme will also prepare children for the transition to primary school by equipping them with the skills and mindset to be confident, reflective, and self-directed learners. Children engage in extended, interdisciplinary projects to gain agency in planning, problem-solving, and presenting their ideas – ready to take their next leap with joy and confidence.
