Since our inception in June 2016, Change Makers has conducted annually summer programming including culture shifting dialogue which continuous media coverage. Change Makers has formed relevant partnerships with the Trayvon Martin Foundation, L.E.A.D. Nation and countless other community-based groups in our effort to highlight the "remarkablity" in our community.  As a needs-based platform, our efforts have taken us to Port Au Prince Haiti (in the wake of Hurricane Matthew) to distribute supplies gathered by students and increase global citizenship. Change Makers remains connected to its students weekly and seeks partnerships to create unforgettable opportunities through community, sporting and social events as well. With a strategic focus on scholarship and global citizenship and our partnership with Michigan State University, inner-city students annually experience the continent of Africa through our study abroad program.
